Here is my first newborn fitted. I used a mama bird pattern. The wings are kind of small, so I wished that I would have made them a bit larger. I used flannel all around for this diaper, that includes the soaker pad that I sewed in. This might be what the baby goes home in, because he/she won't be able to fit into it for very long.
